Booking Policies
You can book a
trip with All About Green Travel CR by
filling the contact form or by sending an email to info@greentravelcostarica.com. You may also call us at (506) 25-24-2035 or
(506) 88-37-0752.
Please let us know in detail how
we can help you: Type of vacation, budget, number of people,
expectations.
Read carefully our reservation,
refund and cancellation policies in order to proceed with the
booking process.
Reservations, Payment and
Cancellations
Green Season Bookings Periods:
20% deposit non-refundable is due at time of booking.
Balance is due in full 30 days prior to the arrival date.
In certain cases, depending on the hotel, service or
activity, 100% payment is required at time of booking.
High Season Booking Periods:
20% deposit non-refundable is due at time of booking.
Balance is due in full 45 days prior to the arrival date.
In most cases, depending on the hotel, service or activity,
100% payment is required at time of booking.
Payment Methods:
All payments must be
made in US Dollars or Euros and made payable to Green Travel CR (commercial name) or its equivalent Key to the sunny highway
S.A (legal name). We accept wire transfers or personal checks to
our bank account of New York or to our bank account in Germany
Deutsche Bank. Payments must be received by the payment deadline,
if not; we will contact you to cancel all reservations. We accept
credit cards( Visa and Mastercard).
Cancellations:
All cancellations must be in writing.
During high season, there will be no refunds if the
cancellation is made within 8 weeks of the arrival date.
During low season, there will be no refunds if the
cancellation is made within 4 weeks of the arrival date.
Changes within 30 days of departure are charged $50.00 per
person.
Additional charges may be made depending on supplier’s
conditions.
No refunds will be made
for features included in our itineraries that travelers chose not
to take part in. No refunds will be made for missing transfers or
sightseeing tours due to changes or delays in airline schedules.
Green Travel CR will not refund any money for changes in
travel arrangements made by the traveler after the departure date
or in country. Any service issue affecting the quality of the
guest's hotel stay must be addressed directly with the hotel's
management at the time the issue arises since refunds cannot be
given for such inconveniences.
Legal
Limitations
Green Travel CR, (its owners, associates, agents and employees) shall
assume no responsibility nor liability, for injury, damage, loss,
accident, delay or irregularity to person or property in
connection with any service provided or resulting directly from
the following: weather and road conditions, breakdowns, strikes,
war, riots, acts of God, detention annoyance, terrorism, thefts,
pilferage, disease, force majored, civil disturbances, government
restrictions or regulations, delays and expenses arising from
quarantine, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart
as scheduled, and discrepancies or change in transit, car rentals,
loss of baggage, domestic flights, loss of life, tours, or hotel
services over which we have no control. Green Travel CR is
acting as a third party agent-all travel documents issued by
Green Travel CR including all vouchers and coupons issued and
all arrangements for transportation or conveyance or for hotel or
lodging, car rental, touring or sightseeing services are subject
to the terms and conditions of each supplier. By tendering payment
to Green Travel CR for any and all services, the
participant(s) agrees to accept and be bound by the terms and
conditions on this page.
Travel arrangements and prices detailed on our web sites are
provided and coordinated by Green Travel CR.
Green Travel CR has taken due care and responsibility to
verify and check all information on our website as at the time
of compilation, however, as this information is supplied by the
relevant accommodation & tour/transfer operators in our
brochures, it accepts no responsibility for any inaccuracy or
misdescription contained in the publications.
Sales of services as contained in our publications are made
by Green Travel CR only as agent for the person, business or
company providing the services. The standards of accommodation
and other services chosen are based on various factors, which
are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class.
Green Travel does not accept responsibility for any
change in prices or variation of services as shown, and all
services and prices are subject to change without notice.
It is essential that you check with us, or your travel
agent, for any changes or variations to the information shown on
our website. This will allow us to advise you, or your agent, of
any such changes that we are aware of either before you book
your holiday, or prior to your departure.
Privacy Statement
When you book a reservation
through our website, we ask you to provide personal identifiable
information by filling out and submitting a contact form. This
information includes your name and email address. We use this
information to process and book your reservation and to notify you
of your reservation status by email. All this information will be
stored in our database. Green Travel CR will not sell, rent,
trade, or give your name, e-mail address, street address or any
other personal information to any other organization. However,
Green Travel CR reserves the right to release information to
the appropriate authorities if we believe that such release is
reasonably necessary to comply with the law or to protect the
property or safety of Green Travel or any of its affiliated
companies, our employees, users, or others.
This Agreement is governed by, and
shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of
Costa Rica. Arbitration: Each of the Parties to this Agreement
irrevocably agrees that any dispute arising in relation with the
interpretation, execution or termination of this Agreement shall
be resolved by Arbitration, pursuant to the rules and proceedings
of the Arbitration Commission of the Costa Rican Chamber of
Commerce. The award shall be considered for all purposes as
conclusive, final, and binding, and may be enforced in any
jurisdiction, including Costa Rica and the United States of
America, by suit on the award, a certified or exemplified copy of
which shall be conclusive evidence of the award, or in any other
manner provided by law. As long as this Agreement remains in
force, each of the parties shall main a duly appointed agent for
the service of summons, complaint and other legal process, for
purposes of any legal action, suit or proceeding brought in
respect of this Agreement.
